If the number attendee, we will have two sections only (Open & U1700), prizes will be: 1st: £50 Best Adult, 2nd place: £50  Best Junior, 2nd place: £50 

It is mandatory to be registered for the English Chess Federation at GOLD level or above, and quote your ECF membership number when entering. Non-members pay £18.00 extra. Check your membership status here 

ALL PLAYERS need to quote a FIN (FIDE Identification Number) with their entry. Non-English players will have to obtain a FIN from their national federation If you are ENG.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

  • Entries received by Saturday 02nd, 9am latest.
  • In all disputes, the decision of the Organiser is final.
  • No player may win more than one prize.
  • Addresses will be stored on a computer for sending out future congress entry forms, and players' grades will appear on the ECF website.
  • Players without a current grading must indicate on the entry form their best previous results or any grading ever held.
  • All mobile phones/alarms must be turned off and not on your person during play.
  • Ungraded players are not eligible for grading prizes.
  • Entry fee: £20.00 (adults and juniors)
  • WGM & WIM: Free | WFM: £10 
  • Community Concession: £10
    Available only to players living within the Somers Town catchment area (King’s Cross / St Pancras / Euston), supported by local community funding - Francis Crick Institue.
