EVENT NO LONGER IN DUNDEE
Due to a problem with the venue this event will now be held on Lichess.org as an online event
The tournament will have 2 sections and is open to all young people attending school. All games will be graded on the Chess Scotland allegro list.
The usual best prizes of Trophies, Grading Medals and Certificates will be available. In addition the top 5 placed will qualify for the Top Scot Final on Saturday 18th January 2025 where the prize fund will be £1000.
Any questions regarding prizes should be made to the tournament director prior to entry
Start Time: 10am Finish time: Approx 2.30pm
Players are requested to be online and ready at 9.45am
Entry Fee £15
Time Control is 20 mins + 10 sec increment per player.
Players from any chess federation may participate in qualifiers and final. However to win the title and any prize money, players require to be SCO Fed.
The organiser reserves the right to change the prizes, venue, timings and any other feature of the tournament to ensure its smooth running.
