Chess Scotland is delighted to announce this year's Scottish Championships will be held at the Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline, 7th - 13th July 2025.
Both Chess Scotland members and non-members are welcome to participate. Players of all nationalities are welcome to enter but titles will only be awarded to eligible players.

6 rounds will take place. 3 rounds will start at 10:30am on Wednesday the 9th of July and then 3 rounds on Friday the 11th of July. Rounds 2,3,5 & 6 will be dependent on when previous rounds finish.

Refund Policy Players withdrawing prior to the opening day of the congress may do so with a refund, less a £10 administration fee.
Please read the notes on eligibility at the above link, complete the application form on the Chess Scotland website and send to the Chess Scotland Rating Officer. Visiting players should apply for a FIDE ID from their home federation.

Time Control is 25 minutes with a 10 second increment.*****
Schedule
