Open to all young people attending primary school. The tournament will have 1 section but also will offer title and prizes for P5 & Under
We want to see as many of Scotland's Primary School aged pupils involved as possible. Scottish Titles will only be awarded to players who have satisfied Scottish eligibility conditions and have a SCO registration. Trophy & medal prizes
Certificates of participation for every player
All games will be graded on both FIDE and Chess Scotland Allegro Lists
Players must request a FIDE registation by following instructions on Chess Scotland website (this is free of charge). Tournament Entry Fee is £18
Any questions regarding prizes should be raised with the tournament director prior to entry.
6 rounds using Swiss pairings.
Time Control: 20 mins plus 5 secs (from move 1) per player.
The organiser reserve the right to decline entry and remove players from the tournaments
All data will be held in compliance with the Chess Scotland Data Protection policy
