Introduction

Welcome to the home page of the Bolton Easter Chess Congress.

We will be running three sections, an Open, an U1975 and an U1650

ECF Chess Congress Regulations

Time Control 1hr 50 minutes plus 10 second increment

Format

It will be a six round swiss event with all sections FIDE rated.

We use FIDE standard play grades in the Open and Major, ECF in the knights. If you have no current grade we use your last available grade. If you have no grade you must send us information to estimate your grade, at least seven days before the tournament.


Pairings and results

We will use Swiss Manager to produce the pairings. These pairings will be available on Chess-Results.com.

1hr 50m plus 10 seconds increment. Repairing after 30 minutes

Registration and Entry Fee

£35 per entry. ECF Non Members and Bronze members must add £16.00 (Juniors £6.50) pay to play fee. Payment will be accepted on line.
