Parking Due to the ideal town centre location (and age of the property), unfortunately the car park at the rear of the hotel is small and parking is unable to be booked. Spaces are on a first come first served basis. However there is plenty of parking close by within walking distance.

Oban is well served with car parks. Look out for signs as you enter the town. For those travelling by ferry, and wanting to leave their car on the mainland there is a pay and display beside the CalMac terminal, which is the actual car park for the railway station, which is ideal for day trips @ £3.00 but there are limited spaces. There is also a much larger private car park on Shore Street with easy access on foot to the ferries – a 24 hour stay here will cost £5.00. For longer trips the free long term car parks at Longsdale and Lochavullin can be used, the Council car parks also allow over payment which will be credited to the following days; there is a limit of £20 which will allow for approximately three days parking. Short term parking is also free at Ganavan Sands, Pulpit Hill and McCaig’s Tower.
You can also park your car in the main streets of the town. The fee is 80p for forty minutes and the maximum stay time is 2 hours in the inner zone and 4 hours in the outer zone in any one spot. Ticket machines are placed within easy reach. On street parking is free beyond the inner zone.
