The hotel is located close to junction 29 of the M6. Bamber Bridge railway station is a little over a mile away, local buses 112 and 125 (Preston - Chorley - Bolton) run between railway station and the hotel. No refreshments provided by the organisers. Drinks/snacks available from the bar. No externally purchased food/drink must be eaten in the hotel.

The organisers reserve the right to redistribute in whole or in part any prize won by a competitor who has won or shared a prize.

Rating

The ECF Blitz Rating List will be used to determine a player’s rating. For players who do not appear in the Blitz Rating List, other lists may be used at the discretion of the organisers.

Rating Information – It is a condition of entry that players agree to their rating information being published on the ECF website.

Pairings

Absent players will be defaulted when their time runs out.

Rate of Play

The rate of play will be 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment per move from move 1.

Time Table

Round 1	7:15pm
Rounds 2-5	will be played consecutively without a break as soon as pairing can be made
Round 6	8.45pm
Rounds 7-9	will be played consecutively without a break as soon as pairing can be made
