Chess Scotland is delighted to announce the inaugural Scottish Women's Rapidplay Championships to be held at the Mercure Hotel in Livingston on 31st August 2025.
Both Chess Scotland members and non-members are welcome to participate. Players of all nationalities are welcome to enter but titles will only be awarded to eligible players.

5 rounds will take place starting at 11am. Further rounds will start shortly after the previous round finishes. We will be finished by 5:30pm

Time Control is 20 minutes with a 10 second increment.*****

Refund Policy Players withdrawing prior to the opening day of the congress may do so with a refund, less a £10 administration fee.
Please read the notes on eligibility at the above link, for players without a FIN, please complete the application form on the Chess Scotland website and send to the Chess Scotland Rating Officer. Visiting players should apply for a FIDE ID from their home federation.
