Introduction

Welcome to the home page of the Bolton Rapidplay Chess Congress.

We will be running three sections, an Open, an U1950 and an U1650

Bolton Rapidplay Regulations

Please book on the Congress Link using http://Congress.org.uk We will accept postal entries to Rod Middleton, 97 Dovedale Road Breightment, Bolton BL2 5HS Entry fees must be received before the event. Entries will be listed on Congress.org and the Bolton Chess Club website. Places are limited so book early. November Rapidplay grades will be used to determine sections. If you do not have a Rapidplay Grade show your Standard or a grade estimate.

  • Time Control 25 minutes plus 5 second increment

    Format

    It will be a normal six round swiss event .

    Pairings and results

    We will use Swiss Manager to produce the pairings. These pairings will be available on Chess-Results.com.
